Mod_Security & monitoring sites

I've Apache 2.x with mod_security2. Decided to sign up to mon.itor.us to check my server services etc (some might say its a waste, but its helpful to debug problems, as I found my DNS is only up/responding 78% of the time)... Anyway, I've found that their server(s) are being blocked by mod_security... The rules are from the update.script installation.

Is anyone using mon.itor.us or the like, and know what http headers they send, so I can make an exception in my mod_security rules (if you can make exception rules?)

check your modsec_audit.log logfile to see which rules is blocking the monitoring, and disable/change that rule
