moniter users resorces

hi im a relatively new da admin and on my newest server i have found that one or two of the people i host are taking up a unreasoanble amount of bandwidth. i was wondering if it was posible to find out which users are taking up the resorces. i knjow the "top" command wont be much use here so what will.

my friend told me checking the process of mysql. but i dun know how to check it. can somebody teach me ?
