Hello,

I have one question.

I am trying to make daily backups (doesn't matter at wich level: user, reseller, or even admin)... Problem is backup system on DA is primitive as far as i know.

I mean i want to make backups daily but keep backup files for 7 days, not to overwrite the backups from yesterday. So, "backups rotation" if i am not wrong...

I can do this by setting 7 different backup crons but this is way too redundant work... I got also access over a CPanel machine and from Admin side i can do with just some cliks over some check boxes backups daily, weekly, monthly aso, including with rotation...

There is any workaround on DA other than creating same cron multiple times (just with different folders to save to and different days) ?

DirectAdmin does what it does. We use DA backups daily and upload them to our backup server, which is strictly for holding backups of many servers. Then on that server we change the directory name nightly, and delete the oldest one and it's contents, similarly to how logrotate works.
