Can i have more than one .cf file in /etc/mail.spamassassin/ folder ie. local1.cf, local2.cf etc.
How many can i have and does it works properly.

Thanks,
Prashant.

you can have yourlocal.cf and a lot of .cf
just restart exim for them to be read by spamassassin

ok.. thanks.

I have one more query.
Currently i have set my threshold for spam to 5.0. In DA i have set the option for spam to go to specific user's spam folder. Then does there any chances for the spam to be get deleted.

User has to go to spamfolder to delete, or push into inbox
simplest way is to log with squirrelmail, so you will see spam folder. This is the intelligent solution.

Other way is only to tag as spam, then the client (outlook,thunderbird...) can move the spam into spam folder.
This make more bandwith use, but it's more for feignant or newbees.

Of course you can delete at server, but it's not correct because you have to deliver mail if you accept them, see RFC.

Then you can find intermediate solution to refuse spam after example 15 points, search on this forum, but use more ressources since it scan all mail twice...

I hope you reject at smtp time most of the spammer with direct dnsrbl queries (see forum).

I think u have not got my point.
As i have set the spam mails to go to particular users spam folder, some spam mails are still getting deleted.

How it could happen.??

Thanks.
