Hello,

I've got setup ns3 and ns4.mydomain.com as my nameservers and don't wont to change or add more for various reasons.
I have 2 servers with DA with multi server (for DNS) turned on.
I need to move all domains from server A to server B and just update their new IP and nothing else as nameservers will be the same.

Because of zones are already been on both servers when I use the admin/backup transfer/restore I'm getting:
domainX.com already exists on the server

Is there a way to bypass this?

Thanks

make backup on Server A - delete the account -go to server b and set multiple server to server A - import backup and you will have account on Server A and DNS on Server B.

Ofc that will cause a downtime so i suggest you to do it in the night..

I hope ive understand well what u meant.

Sorry if i didnt

Deleting the domains from /etc/named.conf is a way to bypass the check and with multi server you have to delete them from both servers.
