I need to move to a new server. All the current users/resellers of one server are moving to the new one, and all the users/resellers are owned by the admin and I want to keep the same structure.
I thought I could just back them up from the old to the new. I did that and it looks like the ftp worked fine. I also restored all users but the admin (the admin account had a bunch of files and settings I didn't want anymore). That also seems to have worked fine. All users are where I want them, the reseller account looked fine. All the IP's were listed as the corrent ones. I couldn't find anything wrong.
The TTL is set to 100 seconds (at least it seems to be when I look in the *.db files -- I don't know to verify this is working). I then shut down thee old server and waited for about 1 hour for the TTL to expire and have the DNS refresh to the new server. No luck.
How do I get the DNS to get the new info from my new server? I brought the old server back up so I can do this later once I know what is happening.
Thanks
