moving a user from shared to dedicated

i had a user on a shared ip.

i moved him to a dedicated ip. ( and his sites of course )

is there anything i have to do to get this former shared domain to work correctly on the new dedicated ip?

all the dns looks good , i mean by pointing to the new ip.

everytime i access the domain, it tries to kick me into some ssl mode.

Did you give DNS any time to propagate?

By default, DNS is set with a TTL (time to live) of 24 hours, so it could take up to 24 hours for you to be looking at the new IP#.

thanks for the reply.

the problem was that i'm on a 'virtual dedicated server', and that ip seemed to be assigned to someone else too or something.

i tried another ip and it worked fine.
