Hi
I have 2 drives. 1 from 200gb. Let's say drive A
And also one from 2TB. Let's say drive B.

I want to move my direct admin wwwroot from drive a, to fresh mounted and clean drive B. It is not possible to install DA on drive B. It's just a big storage drive.

How can I move the entire wwwroot?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Hi Mark,

basically you need to follow those steps:

1 - Prepare your 2TB drive (partitioning and format)
2 - Mount your 2TB drive in a separate path (ex. /home2)
3 - Stop services (web, mail, mysql)
4 - Move all the content of /home to /home2 ( mv /home/* /home2/ )
5 - Check that /home is empty
6 - Change the mount-point for your 2TB drive from /home2 to /home
7 - Start stopped services

Those should be the needed steps to acchieve what you need

Regards
