I have an external license good for many years (2038). My server is 7 years old and I am unable to upgrade it. I have had several issues with it recently and want to move to a new server with a different host. This will change my IP address. Will I be able to use the license on the new host if I shut down the old one?

Ask for a temporary license by emailing directadmin support and they will give you one for the new host.
