hello

right now i'm trying to setup another server from the same hosting provider to attach it with mine and i want both to act like one is that possible also if i the second server is 500 GB and the current is 2 TB so the total space will be 2.5TB for my website ?
plus can i mount all of the new space to current folder like for example the 2 TB i am using 1TB on a website and the other 1TB for another website can i add the new space to one site or the new 500 GB will used for both please clear everything up for me and explain in details as much as you want i want to learn everything about it ASAP please so i can get it done

yea one last thing is it really as easy as adding the ip and the port and the root as a username and password and that's it i will be able to use the new server merged with the old one that easy ?

waiting for your respond

The Multi-Server setup in DirectAdmin is just for DNS.

What you wanna do is not possible at the moment, it would be a clustering and that function is not present in DirectAdmin.

thank you so much for your answer

so the best option for me right now is to upgrade my hdd's and buy like one or two more for a good price so i'm able to do what i'm planning to do right ?

one last thing do you know a company that can help me move my server to a better place like i found this dedicated server on auction it's really amazing it's around 6 TB cpu intel i7 and the ram is 32 right now i have only 8 and all this for the same price but my only concern is that i don't know how to move a server to another company plus the other company doesn't offer Directadmin only cpanel and plesk and i don't know anything about them so if there is anyone that can help me move my server with all the data please tell me the price and the duration like how many hours it's going to take to move my data from server A to B ?

If you need more space yes, but you may also think to use different host for your services, it depend what is the end-use you need to create.

Regarding the move server, i suppose you mean move all data from a server to another one, am i right?

If yes, i can do that kind of stuff aswell, feel free to PM me for a quote, regarding the time needed, well it very depend on the data amount to move ;)

Regarding the DirectAdmin, you may consider those act ways:

1 - Change Control Panel (not suggested)
2 - Buy your own DA license and take a server without panel, so you can install your own license
3 - Find another housing company that offer DirectAdmin as CP

It very depend also on how much you wanna pay for a server and what specs the server you want should have.

There are several ways to do this.

Note if you add another drive you won't be able to easily add the space to your /home partition (/home directory). It can be done, but unless you're using Logical Volume Management it may be necessary to rebuild all your partitions (and perhaps reformat existing drives) to make it work.
