Hello,

When you add user an option to add several / multiple domains, for example

there is user with package option for adding 5 domains and there are several other domains on server

customer1.com
customer2.com
customer3.com

You are customer3.com and you can add new domain like domain.customer2.com, domain123.customer1.com - and it works.

How do I overcome this or am I'm missing something on configuration?

Hello,

Actually this works even if you have set 1 domain for customer (package).

And on same server there are

customer1.com
customer2.com
customer3.com

you as beeing customer3 will go to DA domain management > Change domain and change your domainname test.customer1.com - and you directory content (website) will show up on another customer website! You have just stolen an identity!

Please kindly advise how to solve this issue.

I did not realize they had "fixed" that. However the previously posted thread should be read in its entirety. What if you have a reseller who wants to put subdomains on different ip addresses? The only way to do that is by putting them on different users. Using the "fix" will not allow subdomains to be on different ip's.

Hello,

Thank you for that pointout!

check_subdomain_owner=1 is in directadmin.conf & restarted
And I tryed on customer.net to have test2.customer.com and it still let me change domain-name.
Is there anything else needed to configure?

EDIT: if you try to add NEW domain, it applies and if you try to change your existing domain - it won't apply. How could we turn this on for second part also?

Hello,

Blocking works when adding new domain, but does not affect when changing existing domain or am I missing some configuration?

Thank you.
