I have a dedicated client that would like to put all their domains in one account and only have one FTP for it. Is this possible?

Thanks

Yes this is because i use this very setup for my admin account. For example I have 5 domains ordered:

domain1.com
domain2.com
domain3.com
domain4.com
domain5.com

Since the data for the domains is stored in /home/username/domains/<domainname> this is still located underneath the user account. Think of it this way, one user account has multiple folders where the data for different domains are stored. If you use the main login for that useraccount then you can access each of the different ../domain/<domainname> folders and manage each individually, all with the same FTP account.

Ok, that is good. Can that user have each domain on a seperate IP? Or do we have to manually edit every domain's IP's?

DirectAdmin currently only assigns an IP address per account, not domain. That is something you would have to do manually.

is there a way to access the folder before the /username/domains
Through the web? No
Through ftp? Yes and can be specified when you create the account.

Okay, so I have added 2 domains to a users account and changed the IP to a different one.

Should I keep the originally IP ftp entry in there until their domains resolve? Or does it matter that ftp entries all have different IP's?
