Multiple websites : how to

We are running currently 1 website (1 domain-name)
We would like to create a second website with our account. Apparently 1 can add one domain-name. I suppose that is to be used for a complete new website.
How can I start building the new site? When I click on the SP (sitebuilder) icon I son't see where I can switch to a new site.

Are you a webhoster, or a single user? Usually, you can add new domains in DirectAdmin in the "Account Manager" - "Domain Setup".
Sitebuilder (from the Softaculous people) is another thing; there you can only choose already available domainnames in the drop-down-field if adding a new pagebuilder projectsite.

We host a website and want to create a complete new one for another project, keeping the first one in production.
I found in the help-section that as soon as I add the second domain I will have the possibility to choose which site to build in the Control Panel. Correct?

Yes, correct. In the sitebuilder, you can choose any of your available (already in directadmin added) domains, in a drop-down-field on creating new project.
