I purchased a hosting account with up to 4 domains. This is my first time using Directadmin (I'm used to Cpanel). I assumed I could setup seperate 4 websites with 4 seperate domains on this account (this was possible with cpanel). However I cant figure out how to do it. I see you can add domains, but it appears they will all use the same folder as their root. THere does not appear to be a way to specify a subfolder as their root. Is this possible with Directadmin?

huh? How does that solve my problem?
For example I have two domains www.Adomain.com and www.bdomain.com I want to use both domains and I want both domains to lead to different websites. For example www.Adomain.com is my main domain that my account was registered with and opens the index.htm of the root folder. With other control panels I was able to have second domain like www.Bdomain.com use a subfolder as it's root, allowing me to have two separate websites on the same account.

You can add more domains through the Domain Administration page...
site-helper.com - I'm tired of looking up the link

Each domain has it's own directory and is stored in the /home/username/domamain directory, each domain having their own public and private_html directories etc, like most control panels do.

Example:
Adomain.com would be in /home/username/Adomain.com/
and bdomain.com would be in
/home/username/bdomain.com/

Great! I saw where to add the domains, but because it didn't have a place to specify the sub-folder, I assumed it just created a mirrored site.
Thanks, that's what I needed to know. :)

Sorry I misread your post I didnt read where you specified 4 different domains.

Thank You both. My hosting companies tech support finally responded to my ticket. His response was to paste a link to the helpfile on "pointers". Not helpful.
Tech-support should never just link to or Quote a public helpfile. It is beyond aggravating to the customer who waited 12 hours for a response. :p
