Mumblehard malware

Did anyone already encounter issues with the newly found Mumblehard malware?

We seem to have one server compromised with it but we're looking for a proper way to remove it...

I've not yet encountered it, however I do encounter an increasing lot of ftp bruteforces on all servers.
You say you had one server compromised.

How did you discover it? Is there a certain way it can be searched for if it's presence?
