Hi everybody ,

I just have a problem with my direct admin panel :

The dns of my domain name were managed by my registar, he give me a dns server, and I want to stay on it for the dns.

I have make a A record on the ip of my web server who there is direct admin

On my web server, on direct admin, i've created a domain ...

I've deleted the mx and the ns registered on direct admin

But my problem is the same :

I can't receive one mail coming from my server:

Example :

I can receive a mail from you
BUT
I can't receive a mail generated by the mail() function and send to an adress email of the domaine name present on the server wheras the same script is working on another server ...

and, when i create the mail adress, that i want send the mail to with the mail function, the mail is going on ...

Ex: [email protected] send a mail ( with outllook for example ) to [email protected], when i check the mail with outlook ( configurated on the ns of my registar ) i receive the mail

But

my script on my server, where the tata.com domain name is on, is sending a mail to [email protected], when i check the mail with outlook ( configurated on the ns of my registar ), i h've nothing, but if i create the tata mail adress on the server direct admin, and i go to the webmail, i can see the mail sending by the script ...

Excuse my english

If your not hosting mail on the box then uncheck the box that says that mail is hosted on that server its in the dns mx settings area.

You would say thaht I must uncheck the

Use this server to handle my emails.
If not, change the MX record and uncheck this option

Box ?

I' hve make it , but it's is'nt work unfortunally ...

Ive just deleted the mx records, maybe i must create a mx ?

Many thanks

If you delete the mx records then no mail will come to that domain at all. MX records are created automatically but you changed them and then deleted them so yes now you have to create them again if you want mail to work.
