MX Records change, domainname added automatically at the end

Hi guys,

I have a strange issue here.

By changing the mx record when I do a MX lookup I discovered that the domainname is added automatically.

ex: blablabla.mail.eo.outlook.com 10 (is what I need)

What I see in the lookup: blablabla.mail.eo.outlook.com.domainname.com

And this points anywhere.

What could the issue be?

Because you didnt put a trailing . on the end.

You need to add the MX hostname with a . at the end of it, like this:

blablabla.mail.eo.outlook.com.

And NOT like this:

blablabla.mail.eo.outlook.com
