I have recently upgraded PHP to version 5.3 on a server here and after that seemingly various myisam tables have started to crash. Could obviously be something different but it seems to have started just after the upgrade. Anyone have any good ideas as to what could be the reason?

Well various tables are suddenly reported as crashed in the logs, have not found a reason for it yet but and they are repaired as needed but from what a customer says it keeps happening but not to the same table so it seems at random. I'm looking more into it but figured I'd just check here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar after an upgrade of PHP version.

I'd suggest you checking of hardware: HDD, RAM as it seems to be a hardware related.
