Hi,

It seems that i have a mysql problem.
A week ago i've installed Etomite CMS for a client.
It worked just fine (my client doesn´t use it yet).

Yesterday when i logged in to the manager of Etomite i got mysql errors.
I've asked in the Etomite forum what these errors mean. I should repair the tables but phpmyadmin can't. It seems that i have a mysql problem.

Since i've installed Etomite for my client i made one change for mysql (a few days ago). I've followed the "how to optimize MySQL" because MySQL was down one time (i think after a system backup) and did not restart automatically.

And yum updates my software every night since a few days.

MySQL 4.1.10a
Fedora Core 3

What should i do to prevent this error from happening in the future?

Please help.

I know that we exclude mysql from automated updates.

I don't know how to do that on Fedora; we use CentOS.

Jeff, thank you for your reply. I will look into that.

The Etomite problem is solved. They use InnoDB and MyISAM tables. InnoDB was the problem. In future releases the only use MyISAM tables... No MySQL problem!
