mysql.sock location?

Where is the file that directadmin reads to tell it where the mysql socket location is and if anyone says /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf I will shoot u coz it don't work when I change it lol....need to know as it is defaulting to /tmp/mysql.sock' which is a ball ache to work with

nope changed that too...
socket = /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
is in there

infact if I remove that mysql sock will revert back to the temp folder and direct admin databases work but nothing else does as its setup for the proper sock location
