I have some questions about update mysql on my server.
We use DirectAdmin as Hosting Control Palnel, i need update mysql to version 4.1.10.
What method to me it is necessary upgrade mysql what to not lose a database of users and also that after a upgrade mysql continued to work with DA.
I have such variant (prompt there can be I somewhere I am mistaken):
1. Make Dump to all bases.
2. Remove old MySQL
3. Install new MySQL
4. Return in new mysql all data from Dump.
Also me the question interests, whether it is necessary to do after reinstallation MYSQL what or changes in configuration files DA?
