mysqld: Process is stopped

Hi,

DA tells me that msqld is stopped, and when I try to start it again, I am receiving this error:

/sbin/service mysqld start 2>&1

The server is running under CENTOS 5

Does it restart from ssh using /etc/init.d/mysql restart (as root)?
