Hey,

When I set up a new client it will give one of my resellers name servers.

How do I sort this so it doesn't do it?

Everything is correct in admin settings - the name servers part.

Regards,
Lewis

Its up to the reseller to set up what nameservers his users use.

I don't think you understood me.

I'll explain it in a better way.

When I setup a client - it will then give a resellers name servers to that client instead of my name servers (i.e ns1.name.co.uk and ns2.domain.co.uk) of that reseller but not my main nameservers.

Sorry for the confusion.

Lewis

Its helpful to me that it is explained step by step.

When you say "I" do you mean admin or another reseller?

setup a client

A user or a reseller?

One example:
When you login as admin and then go to the reseller level of admin and add a new user from there then that client will get the nameservers listed in the Nameservers of the reseller level.

Sorry,

Yes I as admin.

Create a user (not a reseller).

Then when he/she gets the email they are one of my resellers (reseller clients) custom name servers and not my nameservers.

The example you said explains pretty much it all but the only mistake that I am getting is it is giving out some of my reseller clients nameservers.

Then when he/she gets the email they are one of my resellers (reseller clients) custom name servers and not my nameservers.

Then is the problem just the email that they get or are the nameservers actually used when a domain is added? Check the zone file to see which nameservers are actually used. Maybe the problem is just with the email template.

Are the nameservers random or is there a pattern?

I have fixed this now.

It changed my nameservers within my reseller account.

Admin --> Reseller Level --> nameservers.

I have no idea how or why it got changed in there.

The point was you finally understood what I said in post #4. At least that is what it seemed like since what you did it what I had already said.
