Hello

If i create a vps using openvz and use a new ip for that vps e.x:
123.456.789.0

What nameservers i must use to point my domain to that vps?

NS1 <--- 123.456.789.0
NS2 <--- ?

All the above using direct admin panel in the vps.

Thanks

You should point NS2 to a secondary nameserver in another machine, where you will transfer a copy of the domain. If you have only one VPS/machine with only one IP address, you could use a free service (like http://freedns.afraid.org/secondary/). Detailed instructions can be found on this forum and all around the web.
I also suggest you read a book or extensive tutorial on DNS systems, because without doing so you will always have problems and never setup a stable and reliable solution.

I plan to add more than one vps there.

Yes i know i must read many books.

If you want to use your own name server like
ns1.yourdomai.com and ns2.yourdomain.com

you need to register it with your domain registrar if your domain registrar give you a tool from the control panel will be easy, (some providers call it: domain hosts, child name servers, custom dns host, register dns,) if you provide with more information we can help you more.

when you register the name server on your domain registrar, it will ask you for the IP you put there 123.456.789.0 for primary and 123.456.789.0 for secundary if you use a single IP, (NOTE: some domains provider doesnt allow same IP for primary and secundary) if that is the case you need to get an additional IP to your hosting company.

If you need more information or help fell free con contact me as PM or any of my contact Info.

Thanks
