Hello,

This is my first post on the DirectAdmin Forum. Hopefully, I am doing this the correct way ... I already searched on the forum, but I couldn't find an answer.

I am concerning with the following problem:
I want to make a backup of all of my users on my VPS to another server via the Admin backup/transfer option. However, it doesn't work
Although the login credentials are 100% correct, I get the following error:

ncftpls: Could not change directory: server said: testloc: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/ncftpls returned error code 5
FTP information invalid.

I know it has something to do with writing permissions, however I don't know how to solve this problem ...

Can you help me?
Thanx a lot!

Hello,

Make sure, you've got directory structure created on a remote server, just before you run backups.

Isn't it possible that the remote server has writing permissions to create the directory?

You should create directories on a remote server, and give permissions for writing into the location to a FTP user.
