Need advice on partitioning

Hello,

Need advice on partitioning, My first SSD Server,
I have 8GB Ram, 120GB SSD, 500GB SATAII (Using DA on CentOS)
I think to partitioning like this

120GB SSD
/boot 100MB
/ 10GB
swap 8GB
/tmp 4GB
/usr 12GB
/var rest of drive

500GB SATAII
/home rest of drive

This is good enough to run heavy mysql site?
Before upgrade to SSD this web site run on single SATA drive

Since you're asking about a single-site server, and the specs can be all over the map; no such thing as averages, I'd suggest you look at usage of your current partitions or directory paths to see what percentages are being used now. Generally I use a lot of space for /home for example, but you may need almost none.
