Need help changing domains in DA

I want to move my domain from one server to another. I have uploaded all of the files and databases to the new server and put them under a temporary domain. Everything seems to be working fine. Now I want to move the old domain to the new server, replacing the temporary domain with the old one.

I know how to change domains in DA. I go to the change domain section and change the domain. Is there anything else that I need to do or is it that easy?

It all depends on where/how you're managing DNS. If you're managing DNS on the server hosting the domain, then you must visit the domain's registrar's control panel and change name of the nameserver your site uses. And if it's not already done you need to register the new server as a nameserver (not the same thing). But if you're simply a client of a hosting company then you don't need to do the latter; it's up to your hosting company, so just make sure your registrar is pointing the domain to the new nameserver(s).

If you host DNS at some central location (perhaps your registrar) you must change the zone to point to the IP# from the new server.

If you've also moved the IP# to the new server (instructions beyond the scope of this reply) all you need to do is make sure the proper IP# is installed on the new server, and set for the domain name, and also removed from the old server.
