Need Help DirectAdmin WILL NOT START!!

Hello guys i need some help my directadmin will not boot up i checked everything and there seems to be something wrong i can't find the log file also where is that located?

ip is this..

any suggestions will help
 
If the port is already in use edit /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf

Change the port= line to a different port.

Then issue

/sbin/service directadmin restart

hey where is the support for directadmin i bought a license and i get no support i sent many emails but nothing has been sent back

Well probably because no one really knows the answer. Check the log files /var/log/directadmin/error.log and /var/log/messages

If you want support from directadmin directly you need to email them they not monitor the forums as much as other users do.

that was the error messages..


So i just did a whereis and it stated this....

whereis directadmin
directadmin: /usr/local/directadmin



I installed it thow... should there be more files?

Ok but that will delete all the data related to DA you already have.

DirectAdmin staff answers all email. If you can't reach them by email your email to them may not getting to the destination. You can reach them through their Safe Submit page, here.
You should also check your logs to see if mail from them is ending up in some kind of spamblocking.

im having same issues so i contracted them this is out of my hands now heh i tried everything and it seems it doesn't wanna work!
