Need help with Dns Problems!

Hello All I need some help with my server problems i really do not no what's the matter i changed the dns to point to my new server im not Direct Admin and i did this before on cpanel but for some reason i cannot receive emails ect

here's my total dns setup!

etradehosting.com. A 64.85.164.208
ftp A 64.85.164.208
localhost A 127.0.0.1
mail A 64.85.164.208
pop A 64.85.164.208
www A 64.85.164.208
etradehosting.com. NS ns1.etradehosting.com
etradehosting.com. NS ns2.etradehosting.com

etradehosting.com. TXT "v=spf1 a mx ip4:64.85.164.208 ?all"

For some reason it keeps giving me errors!

Any help will help me to figure this mess i got my self into!

Without knowing the real domain name, it may be hard for others to check the problem.

You said the name servers are

ns1.etradehosting.com
ns2.etradehosting.com

but why you have

Domain.com NS ns1.Domain.com
Domain.com NS ns2.Domain.com

???

You have wrong ns record in your zone file.
it seems you have :
ns1.etradehosting.com.etradehosting.com.
ns2.etradehosting.com.etradehosting.com.

as nameservers in your zone file instead of ns1.etradehosting.com, and ns2.etradehosting.com

when you input the nameserver in directadmin, make sure you have a full stop after the nameserver host name (ie ns1.domain.com. instead of ns1.domin.com) or direadmin will append the domain name to the name you have input)

Another thing I find is one of you name server has no reponse, I think ns1 (the 210 one) have problem. ns2 has response and should be online.

another thing you may need to do is add an A record for both ns1.etradehosting.com and ns2.etradehosting.com to your zone record which point to the ip address of your dns servers. (ie the 209 and 210 server)

Here is the problem i have spot from your dns setting. I may miss something and other forum members may find more...

Pkilam, how did you obtain the zone record info?
I am having the same problems with my new server and wish to perform this test for myself.

I can see etradehosting.com is up and running using ns1.etradehosting.com and ns2.etradehosting.com
