Hello Guys!

I need some advice in "How to organise simple and correct configuration of DNS with DA"

Until this time I'm using external dns servers, but I need to automate the dns creaton process within account creation.

I have Several New and Old servers running DA (named already configured)
I need to setup DNS on 2 different server.
New Server I want to use as primary and old one with users on it as secondary.

Please give me step by step guide with this subject like:
1. Enter The Server A setup domain name from User level
etc......

DirectAdmin automatically sets up DNS when you set up a site. To get DNS on two servers, the easiest way is to run the Multi Server Setup. But if you need to slave your DNS on a server NOT running DirectAdmin, check out Master2Slave DNS Replicator an open source product published by my company; you can search for it on these forums.

Hello!

When I add primary domain name ro my server
there ise an option create NS1 and NS2 with two ip-s

But I need to setup NS2 on secondary server (Both of servers running DA)
That's my problem

It's not a problem. It's an opportunity. Simply create the other nameserver on the other system, and use Multi-Server Option.

yes, but this is a step which confusing me

I mean if i greate name servers on first server
it needs 2 IP-s for NS1 and NS2
how can I add NS2 to the secondary server without adding main domain?

if I Add name servers to second server i need 4 IP
2 for primary and 2 for secondary

and I will get

ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com at first server
and same ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com on second

Is it possible To ask you write mini how to do this correctly?

On each server you only need two IP#s if you're putting two nameservers on that server.

Create your nameservers as virtual servers.

Perhaps someone else will have time to write a How-To.

I'm too busy right now.
