Hello,

I think this feature will be very p-o-w-e-r-f-u-l-l in DA...
adding 2 new columns in List Users Page:

+ Creation Date - the date this account was created
+ End Date - the end date this account is paid for

This will be very usefull for all of the DA owners that do not have any billing system and good sorting tool for others too.

Posiibility to sort account on creation or end date would do the job great!

So what do you say? Any chance for that?
:)

Count me in as well...

+ a third column showing the "user package" (or the word "custom" if it has been modified). I've always wondered why there is no "package" column...

I can see the point of the creation date, however the end date is in the grey area. Actually it's leaning more towards the black, bad area.

Since you (should) be keeping financial records somewhere, that would be best place to put the date. Heck, even a simple spreadsheet will go a long ways in sorting etc.

Simply put (and my opinion), everybody using a commercial (and some of us custom) billing system probably would never use that column and find it a waste of space.

But that's just my opinion. ;)

(Dynamic columns, now theres a solution)

I think add a additional column for creation date should be a good idea :-)

I always need to open another file for this info :-(

What would be good is the ability to set a date for the account to expire/be deleted as many of the billing solutions I've seen will not cancel the account or delete the account from DA if the hosting is not renewed. This will save me a lot of time and effort.

Onno, I'm not sure how this would be implemented.

How would this date get updated when a person pays? Surely the accounting system can't keep track of that?

I'd think the change (if any) belongs in the accounting system.

Am I missing something?

Jeff

Maybe a column state 'start date' (with or without year) and this field can be updated manually. :)

showing the reseller for a user in the all user overview would be appreciated to :)
