New install gives problems with CustomBuild

Hi,

I just created a clean Debian 11 server and want to install DA.

However I get the following errors when CustomBuild is started:

There seem to be many connection issues. Check your network and /etc/resolv.conf file

Hi Brent, thanks for the reply!

If you read the manual, then the startup.sh does this for me:

" The DirectAdmin installation automatically installs some basic programs that are needed. If you wish to install them manually"

However I tried the above mentioned list, and it installed

bind9 bind9-utils dns-root-data libpython2-stdlib libpython2.7-minimal libpython2.7-stdlib python-is-python2 python2 python2-minimal python2.7 python2.7-minimal python3-ply

Then I tried again, and I still get the same errors.

Then I had a good look at the options.conf.. it was in Windows format (I pushed it via ansible).. i converted it to UNIX and now I tried it again and its working.

Yes I have heard of the manual.. Don't trust scripts.
As you see it didnt do them all...
