HI,

I have just installed a cloud linux 8 . So I began an DA install , and I got this error:

checking for libsodium >= 1.0.8... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libsodium >= 1.0.8) were not met:

Package 'libsodium', required by 'virtual:world', not found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LIBSODIUM_CFLAGS
and LIBSODIUM_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

*** There was an error while trying to configure php. Check the configure file
Changed secure_php option from no to yes
PHP has been secured.
Job for httpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status httpd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

Any sugesstion.

This is the answer that cloudlinux gave me:

Could you try installing it the other way around - install Directadmin on a clean CentOS 8 first, then install CloudLinux using this article:
https://docs.cloudlinux.com/cloudlinux_installation/#converting-existing-servers

Our script will detect DirectAdmin and install all the necessary packages automatically. Let us know the results.

I will try and let you know
