new install - restore reseller account and user backups question

I am moving OS's today, and just wondering when I setting the machine back up. When I create the new reseller account, then restore all the user backups for that reseller, will that restore the resellers data too, including their original password and all their websites, email, mysql data?

Generally yes; exceptions to passwords could occur depending on how many versions you're moving between. PHP safe_mode configuration may not be migrated; I don't think it was the last time I checked.

Hello,

Looking over the restore code, yes safemode and openbasedir are restored, but they're only restored if done via Admin Level -> Admin Backup/Transfer.
This is because it's an admin setting, so only Admin Level restores will be able to set them. Reseller Level or User Level restores will not set the options.
