New IP address. Now I can't access some of my panel

I recently added a wireless connection to my computer, thus creating a new IP address, and now I can't access certain parts of my admin panel. I believe it has to do with the IP because some parts say that I must own the IP I am using to access it. Usually, a username and password window popup, from Windows. I've tried every password and name for my site, as well as my computer, that I can think of, and none of them work. How do I take care of this?

Are you saying you have added a wireless connection to the server you have DA running on?

I think it just wants me to be using the same IP from when I signed up. The new IP adress is on the computer that I'm just signing in on to go into my DA. Server is still Hostpc

Unless you have set up some kind of restrictions DA will let you sign on from any computer from anywhere by default.

This refers to the ip on the server. There are certain things you cannot do with a shared ip like setting up SSL. This has nothing to do with your ip that you are access the server from.

BrawlCentral,

It's possible your wireless router is blocking port 2222. Once you've verified that's not the problem you can try checking with your provider, who appears to be HostPC.

Yea, but I was always on a shared ip, only it used to be wired. I was always able to at least check my site statistics before, and now I can't even do that.

But now you are going through a router that may have port 2222 blocked. Please do as Jeff suggested and answer back.

It's not blocking port 2222 because I'm able to still access the DA and nearly everything in it. Emails, files, databases. The only problems are phpMyAdmin, ssl, and only a couple other sections that require a username and pw now.

Do you get the same IP address for the wireless as you did for the wired. It may be that you are going through multiple NATs and that is messing up the connection.

phpmyadmin has always required a username and password and has nothing to do with the DA control panel.

What do you mean by ssl? Do you mean connecting to DA through ssl? Do you getting to the ssl section in DA? Do you mean connecting to a web site hosted on the DA server?

Either you can connect to DA or you cannot. Its not going to let you get to some portions and not to others. You are not being very specific.
