New site with same domain as current site

I created a new website for a client using Concrete5 and want to push it live, but I already have a site with the same domain name on the server. How do I get the new one live without deleting the old one first?

Rename the old site.

For example, rename example.com to old.example.com. Then you should be able to create example.com again.

Hello,

In order to allow users and visitors to find and use old site, you'd better publish a new site on a test.domain.com or new.domain.com. And as soon as your customer approve it, you move it on the main domain.
