New subdomains shutdown my server. please helpme

Hi.
Please, I need your help, im running DirectAdmin 1.23.3, Apache 1.3.33, Linux Redhat 9.0 my problem is, ... when i make a new subdomain the port 80 goes down, and only can access to my server using port 21 and port of directadmin, but cant access using port 80, the only way to make the server online again is deleting the subdomains, this is the las error log:

[Tue May 31 00:26:09 2005] [warn] NameVirtualHost 62.xxx.xxx.xx:80 has no VirtualHosts
[Tue May 31 00:26:09 2005] [warn] NameVirtualHost 62.xxx.xxx.xx:443 has no VirtualHosts

First upgrade to the latest version of DirectAdmin. Do any subdomains work? How many domains & subdomains do you have on your server?

What are the critical errors apache produces when trying to start before deleting those subdomains? The errors you posted are normal if you have IP addresses that aren't being used and will not cause apache to fail loading.
