New user experience not user-friendly

I think I can work with the random questions, except the first statistics one is not a good one.

But the really irritating part for me is I can't use your search feature. Do you have some guidelines posted somewhere for how to complete the search form as it doesn't work for me. When I enter something in the search box it takes me to an advanced form, and nothing I do in it makes it work.

So of course there is a good chance I duplicated threads. I can't search for existing threads.

I can't help you with validation, but one idea I could give you.

Use google: https://www.google.com/ and add site:forum.directadmin.com into search field new to your searching request. I will filter search results and show pages on forum.directadmin.com only.

Thank you for the response. I will try your solution, but can someone PLEASE verify my account as these random questions are driving me nuts. What a waste of time. I don't understand some of the questions.

I'm NOT a robot. I also can't read minds. A piece of WHAT? Pie? Who designed these questions? Like trick questions instead of just checking for bots and wasting loads of time. Someone who thought he was being very brilliant? But is probably causing many potential users to give up at the point of registration and definitely after making posts. I'm getting to that point.

A piece of cake... they are idioms. Usually they can be found with google as well.
To get a verified status you need to contact forums admins.
