newbie help: how to setup user and mailbox?

I am new to DA and having trouble creating a user to have a mailbox setup with POP. The help page from http://admin.site-helper.com/rpackages.html confuses me. Why do I need to give Virtual Domains or SubDomains or IPs to users of my site? I just want to set up a simple site with users who can use e-mails. Please guide me. I believe that I setup the mail server DNS correctly.

Hey,

Are you the server Admin or a Site owner (User) on the server?

It sounds like you might be a Site owner/User so, take a look here:

http://www.site-helper.com/

And click on "Emails".

That should help explain how to set up emails.

Is that what you mean/need?

Email probs 2

I to am having problems, the instructions on http://www.site-helper.com/email.html do not follow what is on screen within the Control pannel. I have created a mail box i think but cannot email it as the email bounce. Outlook cannot access the email as well through pop3/snmp. IT says the server was found but there was no response. I have left the connection details as default apart from enabling authentication.
Any ideas?

I am having the same problem as mczee101. I will openly admit I am completely new at all of this. I have no experience at all in this field so any help would be appreciated.
