first off thanks to all that try to help my un tech ass understanding,
like i said i'm new to the tech end of computers,webmastering etc.. i just had my server set up with directadmin,the server company emailed me my directadmin un/pw login info, so i have loged in and i did change my pw, then went to (godaddy) and put my ip address into there for my domain name, so here is where i become lost/confused and anything else: i need to send the company setting up my website the ftp account(un/pw) and the info for mysql server name(un/pw) i sent them the company doing my site the info i was sent ie: directadmin login info and they tell me they need(ftp-un/pw,mysql server name-un/pw) i have tried reading the stuff on directadmin but nothing seems to make any kind of sence actually it's making me run away faster than the 6 million dollar man..i know this is prob the most dumb post ever, but like i said i'm new to trying to be a webmaster/website owner and really need some help, remember if your able to help you will be dealing/talking to a computer dummy all together..thanks and hope everyone had a great holiday weekend...peace
