I have an idea for DirectAdmin for the next version, can put some optional update option for php, apache, mysql from the panel.

I've moved your thread to Feedback & Feature Requests.

It's a good suggestion, but it would be extremely hard to do because the best feature of DirectAdmin is it's flexibility. You can decide how and where to get any version, you can also use replacements for Apache and for ProFTPd.

If you want to simply run CustomApache from the control panel (and perhaps have an interface to the conf file) that can probably be done with a plugin.
