No Assistance?

Alright, so we're trying to get some assistance via DirectAdmin support, they will reply to us, and we provide them with our account number (client id)... then what happens is.... permeant silence... they don't respond to any of our emails, and/or to any of our requests for support. what kind of support is this?
 
Check your spam folder or use a different email provider.

*@directadmin.com is even whitelisted. Just no reply from John I think is the only guy that makes DA.... not sure what the deal is there... would be nice if he replied.

Yes, that has been added. The support replies generally come from @directadmin.com -- Does anyone know how to ping Mark and ask him to help us out with this thread? Is he on here so we can PM him?
 
Thanks. I've just submitted them a message there + added my @gmail.com email instead of my other one. I would HIGHLY dought that gmail.com is gonna be blocked... or have delivery problems.
 
Hey guys:

Still nothing from DirectAdmin, unless they got the bright idea of blocking *@gmail.com... which sounds like it wouldn't be so bright.

So the question is what gives?
 
Perhaps they are responding, and for some reason their email isn't reaching you?

Have you whitelisted them?

We're talking about GMAIL here. How on gods green earth can GMAIL be blocking some control panel maker? It doesn't make much sense...

If @gmail.com is blocking directadmin, I think there is something bigger at play... I've been trying to get in contact from 20 different emails over the past 2 months... and nada.

Perhaps Mark / John / whoever isn't reply on purpose? Perhaps that's the reality?
 
Yep, that makes a whole lot of sense. Not. I'm a server administrator and manage 200+ servers. Give me a break.

Can anyone reach out to DA and assist?

In terms of getting some assistance, what's the suggested route? Is DA really made up of 1 guy?
 
Ok. That is too bad. :( Maybe you can use Safe Submit form to send DirectAdmin support a link to this forum thread? That way they can confirm that they sent answer to you, and maybe find out what is causing the email to not get to your inbox.

I am sure something is going wrong. I just hope this will get solved.

Thanks for the advise buddy. I just did that:

"Your message has been sent. An email will be sent to the address provided when an answer is ready."

Yea, I hope it gets solved too... cause Im trying to figure out where the bill should be paid, etc... and their not replying.. :)
 
What department are you sending to? In my experience DirectAdmin Support have been faster to respond then DirectAdmin Sales. So if you sent to Sales or Billing, then please try to send a link to this forum thread to Support department. Hope this get solved!
 
I'm sending it to Support mainly... I've sent to billing and sales before.
