Dear Sir,

I have installed a DirectAdmin on Centos 7 successfully or without an error.

When I tried to Create a new domain:

DirectAdmin --> User --> Domain Setup

There is the following errors:

No Domains - There is no default domain; you should start with creating one first

Even not adding a domain yet. Normally a default domain should be added first before other domains can be added to the server (Am I correct).

Can you please advise how to fix this.

Regards
John

Hello John.

successfully or without an error.
And you used an FQDN hostname for it too?

Normally a default domain should be added first before other domains can be added to the server (Am I correct).
Well partly correct. It's not quite clear what you mean.
The default domain is just the first domain which is created on a user account. There does not need to be any other domain present somewhere on the server.

The message you get is a notification that in fact no domain exists yet. So you have to use the "Create domain" tool.
Did you try that already?

It has been resolved.

For other users who might have similar experience. This happened after I upgraded from FREE to one year paid version: after a few days of doing that, my server has been hacked with hijacking URLs on all websites hosted on DirectAdmin control panel. So I decided to reinstall the whole server with a new IP, but at that time I still use my old domain which was used for FREE version of DirectAdmin. DirectAdmin would not allow that domain to be RE-used for a paid version of DirectAdmin, that was why there were errors as described above.

I solved the issue by using a new domain. It is working as expected.

Many thanks
J
