Hi,

We all know the benefits from receiving a mail from the ticket system when a client opens a ticket. Or receiving a message from your favorite forum on your system when someone replies on a topic you like. Or receiving the creator duplicate email with all the settings from a new created domain. Or... mails from any application running on your server.

It stops some weeks ago on my system. I use FreeBSD 4.10, latest DA, latest Exim no spamassin or some other spam killer. All mails I send from external sources to domains on my server are proper handeld. Every mail send from applications running on my server (cron, DA, phpbb, mambo, etc) ar not send to mailaddresses on the server, on other servers, domains or what so ever. Any idea?

Are there any entries in /var/log/exim/rejectlog that would explain the problem?

What gets logged in /var/log/exim/mainlog when you try to send the mail?

(Logs may be in a different location on a FreeBSD server; I'm not sure.)

I mail you a piece of the log via email

I responded to you, writing that it appears that your server thinks it's local for your domain but really isn't.

Or thinks it isn't, but really is.
