My Directadmin server handles a great deal of email accounts and uses a great deal of disk I/O with all the antivirus, spamassassin and etc. I am running on CentOS 6 container inside a CentOS 6 host both 64 bit. I went this route last time to allow easier upgrading hardware, just backup OpenVZ container and move to new faster host. My I/O is getting a bit high again. I have heard using noatime can improve disk I/O considerably. Will that cause any issues on Directadmin?
