NoIndex / NoFollow of all subdomains using CloudLinux / DA?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue I'm trying to figure out how to resolve. Our server is running CloudLinux with CageFS and DirectAdmin. We've recently come across an issue where a client was unhappy that their staging site (https://tempdomain.serverdomain.com) was indexed before the site was ready to go live. This is the second time in six months a client has requested we delist their temporary domain. It's also a pain because the links to the temporary domains stay active unless de-listed manually.

Is there a way to noindex/nofollow serverdomain.com , including all subdomains, without having to create robots.txt files in each home directory? Will this affect sites that have converted to their FQDN?

I should add that we're running LiteSpeed Web Server. Thanks in advance!

simple put an htaccess pw check before it, then it would not be indexed.

add header tag to your subdomain.

X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow

Don't ask me... how to , I don't know about your temporary domain mechanism.
