not sending &recieving mails

I have updated both exim and vm-pop3d.
It went all fine without errors, and they are running.

But when i send a mail, it never gets to the recipient and when people send mail to me it won;t show up either.
Eitherway, no errors occur. What can be wrong.

UPDATE:

It works now, but this doesn't work:

I'm not able to get mail for the acount [email protected]
I have the domain: domain.com and domainpointer.com is pointing to it.
I have created the account [email protected], and i always could get send and read mail that was sent to [email protected] however it isn't a pop account.

Now i can send mail to it, i don't get any error, but when i login (yes login via smtp and webmail for [email protected] works) my mailbox turns out to be empty.

There are troubleshooting commands you can use with exim from the command line to see where exim is trying to deliver email.

You should probably also check to make sure your exim.conf file hasn't been overwritten.
