Novice Q : Index of / shown when visiting site?

After updating the index file of my site, I now get the sites file index instead of the homepage when visiting it.

I assume ive done something wrong in the process.

Can someone please help??

I'm not sure what you mean. We're a support forum for folk who use the DirectAdmin Control Panel for webhosting. If you're an end user and need support and instruction on how to upload sites you may need to contact your hosting company.

Make sure that your index file is named index.html, index.htm, or index.php and is in your public_html directory.
