Hi,

i have a problem with my nameservers. Have done nameserver settings and changes a few times before but this time iam really perplexed.

Registered the domain "viral-plaza.com" via GoDaddy, added NS1 and NS2.viral-plaza.com in DirectAdmin DNS Settings.

Back to GoDaddy, changed the NS1 and NS2 and added mine. When I ping the nameservers they lead directly to my IP but when I try to open the website in the browser it doesnt work ( www.viral-plaza.com ).

Screens: http://208.100.25.77/~viralmedia/NSprobs.jpg
http://208.100.25.77/~viralmedia/NSprobs2.jpg

Any ideas anyone ? Thank you very much !!!

whois: connect(): Connection refused

Your server is blocking dns requests. You have to open up port 53 udp to allow dns requests.

I think u shuld also create ns1 ans ns2 as A records in the ZONE file of viral-plaza.com pointing to 208.100.25.77

I think there is something wrong with the DNS server as we cant connect to resolve viral-plaza.

Do you have any other domain hosted on your server. Try resolving it from your PC.

Since the site now resolves to the DirectAdmin server, I'm closing the thread.

Jeff
