# of MySQL DBs is not correct

Hey,

after i restored a dump of mysql in a new server he only listed the new ones i add and not the ones i inserted with a dump

how do i fix this?

did u check the DUMP SQL file if it is creating the DB's for you or requires you to have the DB created already?

no i did not checked the dump file does anyone knows a solution ?

Hello,

Only the name of the database is used to determine if it belongs to the user or not. Also, the total number of DB's isn't updated until the nightly tally. Go to User Level -> MySQL Management. If it shows up there, then the total number will be updated with the tally just after midnight.
